Many of Austria’s most famous ski areas are easily accessible from Viehhofen. The new zellamseeXpress Bahn connects Viehhofen with Zell am See Schmittenhöhe. Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, is also easy to reach from Viehhofen.
You will also find the local family ski resort Maiskogel in Kaprun nearby. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier offers you unlimited freedom on wide glacier slopes in natural snow, where you can ski from autumn to early summer.
TOBOGGANING
Sled on the world’s longest floodlit toboggan run in the Wildkogel Arena Neukirchen & Bramberg. 2100 meters above sea level, is where the world’s longest nighttime toboggan run begins.
